Education And Training
Companies today struggle to find qualified type validation personnel. Mentoring programs to train individuals in this unique specialty are scarce. FAA Order 8110.52x, “Type Validation and Post-Type Validation Procedures” and FAA Advisory Circular 21-2x, “Special Requirements of Importing Countries”, are references for guidance on how the validation process works between the FAA and aviation authorities around the world. However, although these documents exist, there is a lack of knowledge on how to implement and work through the processes which vary from country to country.
Currently, there are no degreed university programs, specific guidance handbooks, or formal training to educate aircraft industry personnel on the processes and procedures of international type validation. Global ACES’ training can provide companies with a dynamic application from an industry perspective based on years of successful validation experience around the world. We are prepared to develop and administer training to company personnel at all levels, in both tactical and strategic initiatives.
The validation experts at Global ACES have been responsible for creating and overseeing International Type Validation Departments at major general aviation companies such as Raytheon Aircraft, Beechcraft Corporation, Hawker Beechcraft, and Textron Aviation and have trained numerous personnel who have attained leadership positions within the industry.
