WICHITA, Kansas. (October 18, 2022) – Global Aircraft Certification Experts LLC (Global ACES) today announced that the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) of India has issued a Letter of Type Acceptance (LoTA) for Textron Aviation Inc.’s Hawker 800XP.
In coordination with the FAA, DGCA, and Textron Aviation Inc., Global ACES managed and worked the model 800XP type validation process to support a resale purchase of an aircraft intended for registration and operation in India. In addition to working through the type validation process, Global ACES also submitted application for the aircraft’s modifications that were installed via FAA Supplemental Type Certificates (STCs). Upon issuance of the model 800XP type acceptance, the following STCs were also issued LoTAs:
