WICHITA, Kansas. (December 13th, 2022) – Global Aircraft Certification Experts LLC (Global ACES) today announced that the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) of India has issued a Letter of Type Acceptance (LoTA) for Textron Aviation Inc.’s Skylane 182P.
In coordination with the FAA, DGCA, and Textron Aviation Inc., Global ACES managed and worked the model 182P type validation process to support a resale purchase of an aircraft intended for registration and operation in India. The process included the model’s Hartzell propeller model PHC-G3YF-1RF/F8068 and Continental engine model O-470-R74B – both of which also received LoTA’s from DGCA.
