WICHITA, Kansas. (January 11, 2023) – Global Aircraft Certification Experts LLC (Global ACES) today announced that the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) of India has issued a Letter of Type Acceptance (LoTA) for Textron Aviation Inc.’s Turbo Stationair T206H.
In coordination with the FAA, DGCA, and Textron Aviation Inc., Global ACES managed and worked the model T206H type validation process to support a resale purchase of an aircraft – first of its kind into India – intended for export from the US. The process included the model’s McCauley propeller and various aftermarket modifications installed as Supplemental Type Certificates.
